"Great value" 6/9/2011

Great location 5 minute walk to Oxford Street, old building a little tatty around the edges but great value for money, clean rooms, polite staff, nice selection of food for breakfast, one negative is there is no lift 6 flights of stairs to the top floor. 8/10 I would stay at this hotel again.

"liked it :)" 5/24/2011

it was my second stay there and I really this little hotel :)...I can recommend it!

"Good value and an excellent location" 5/23/2011

This is a very good value for money hotel with an excellent location.

"Recent stay at the Wigmore Court Hotel " 5/9/2011

We arrived for our two nights stay and were greeted very pleasantly and our booking in was dealt with efficiently. Our room was on the ground floor and though it was a room with no view this was not a problem to us as the room was a very quiet room, no noise from traffic etc. The room itself was of reasonable to good size and a credit to the cleaning staff as it was immaculately clean, what I particularly appreciated was that the curtains kept the room quite dark which was a big help to getting a better sleep. Staff were courteous and helpful, breakfast a buffet style and multiple choice of cereals, fruits (including fresh),choice of fruit juices, cheese, yogurts, not forgetting the Lurpak etc ! The cooked breakfast was four selections and was a serve yourself basis, hot food quickly replenished when necessary. Located very central for London and the tube for getting around, making it a convenient place to stay. We've stayed several times in London but would definitely stay here again.

"Great location, excellent hotel, good price" 4/19/2011

I chose the hotel for the location and price. I had two days to visit London and this hotel was close to a tube stop, was clean with an en-suite bathroom and shower, and was a great value. I would definitely return to the hotel for my next trip to London.

"Great Value In Central London." 4/3/2011

The staff at the Wigmore were very polite and kind. I felt like they actually cared about our concerns more than their own.

"Excellent value for money" 3/23/2011

The Wigmore Court Hotel offers excellent value for money: clean rooms with nice furniture; electric kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits; good location, relatively close to Marble Arch; full English breakfast. Certainly the best hotel in London in this category I have ever stayed at - and I'm coming to London relatively often.

"good value for money in London" 3/21/2011

this hotel off of Oxford St. is great value for money. Rooms are a good size, quiet, and well looked after. Easy access to public transport and a pleasant walk to Regent St., etc.

"Wigmore - a pleasant low budget experience" 2/28/2011

This is a great low cost option - clean, quiet and a super location (off Oxford Street) A really pleasant place to stay - I would recommend it. We stayed in a super twin room - room 2!

From Mr Desmond Hunter

"Having just returned from staying 2 nights at your Hotel, which were 16th & 17th March. I have to say we enjoyed our stay at the Wigmore Hotel immensely.

We enjoyed the more home from home feeling of a smaller Hotel which you don't get at larger chain hotels. First off, we enjoyed the warm welcome at the hotel. Then the room was a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds in another room, plus we had our own ensuite bath/shower.

There was also a fridge in the room which was nice to keep cold drinks in. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean.

In the morning, you go down to the dining room with which this Hotel has really excelled itself. It is beautifully laid out with all matching china. It has recently been redecorated.

The breakfast itself. I had cornflakes followed by tea and toast. Then I had a full fry sausages, bacon, scrambled egg, beans, tomatoes. This is all self service with heated plates. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone and would have no hesitation in going back to stay again. I only wish I was going back next w/end again.

We will be going back to London in August to stay again. Hopefully at this Hotel, if it is not fully booked."
